ESKISEHIR was a place with a "Otel" (turkish for Hotel) that will never be cold, even in the worst of winters not, because it was situated right above some underground hotsprings. In fact even the cold water was constantly running hot. As a result of that all the watertabs where leaking, get the picture? The rest of the town wasn't much more exciting, but it was there where i opened up my Bank-Account for the time i was in Turkey (overall almost 3 years), and it was there where i first let a tailor fit me a suit (which was of course still cheaper than anything out of a Swiss Fashion Store), i simply thought they are trying at least to do a good job, something that is not always the case in Turkey. |
