KONYA-EREGLI looked to me almost like an oasis, somewhere in the
middle of the desert-like Turkish central plateau. There was a
mountain range with a huge natural fountain with clearest cool water.
This water was channeld in almost ancient ways, with open channels
(from modern materials made though) just as the Romans used to do,
to the fields.nSaw some "namus" event happening here, around the
other midnight. Namus is the pride and dignity that lets parents kill
guys who get a bit to close to their unmarried daughters. In the
summers heat the cool midnights at the towns central entertainment
park where the only relief from the torture of typing my
"Complete
collection of astrological knowledge" book on an old mechanical
typewriter.
